Positive or negative image artwork is created on one of our Laser Photo-plotters. Plot resolution of 1/16 of a mil is available. Film sizes up to 24" x 36" (610mm x 914mm) are available. Plots are provided on 7 mil thick Mylar film. The Photo Stencil Laser Photo-plotters are located in a class 10,000 clean room with humidity and temperature control.

Applications

PCB Check Plots: Used as an overlay over the PCB prior to introducing the PCB into the SMT printing operation, which is the first step in the SMT assembly process. The overlay is used to verify that the stencil pattern matches the board and solder paste will be printed on all pads receiving devices.

PCB Board layer Check Plots: In this application, Mylar artwork is created for each layer of a multi-layer PCB. Each layer has pin registration holes so that all layers of the PCB board artwork can be physically aligned to view and verify the overall PCB layout.

Thick Film Screen Check Plots: Used as an overlay over the Thick Film Screen as well as the substrate to be printed on to verify both the screen and the print pattern.

High Resolution Artwork: Artwork plotted at a 1/16 mil resolution provides precise images for imaging Pre-Sensitized Thick Film Screens or other high resolution artwork applications.
