Files and Documentation Requirements

Electronic data files may be received on CD-ROM, via Internet (e-mail attachments or FTP upload), or by directly accessing a customer database to download the required information.
The following data for manufacturing is required:

• Gerber Data including:
  1. Solder Paste layer
  2. Solder Mask layer
  3. Silk Screen layer
• Component Centroid / Pick & Place File
• Component Bill of Materials

The dimensions of the finished product will include one (1) inch border on all sides from the edge of the printed circuit board outline. When polarity markings are requested, Photo Stencil will place polarity indicators (plus sign, circles, or half circles according to the silk screen data. At times, polarity indicator placement may be unavailable due to structural integrity or spacing constraints.

Material Properties

• The material is static-dissipative plastic with a surface resistivity value of 107 - 1011 ohms per square.
• Material thickness is 0.03” +/- 0.001”.
• Material color is off-white or black as standard. Custom colors available.
• Maximum product dimensions are 32 inches by 20 inches.
• All text will be half-etched and backfilled with contrasting material.
• Unless otherwise specified, the apertures will be centered on the material.

Identification

Customer specified information will be engraved into the Accucheck ESD Visual Inspection Tooling.  A typical example is shown below:
