Laser-cut Stencils

L-FAB is the technology for applications containing fine pitch components (20 mil and below).  The Photo Stencil process utilizes premium Alloy 42 metal and an electropolishing finish to improve aperture wall quality.  This stencil works very well for step stencil applications providing step-up or step-down areas with non-wavy stencil surfaces.

Nickel plating is another post laser-cut option for creating even smoother aperture walls and is recommended for 20 mil pitch and below, and for µBGA applications.
The Photo Stencil finished product will typically out-perform a stainless steel, laser-cut stencil and stencils not utilizing post-processing treatment.
